Fox Sports Cancels Show After Airing Segment Mocking Asian Students

"We sincerely apologize towards the Asian and Asian American towns, and also to everybody else who found this video offensive, and again towards the College of Los Angeles, that was the unfortunate setting for that video," the spokesperson stated. The segment includes a comedian speaking to Asian USC students, asking these phones formally welcome Colorado and Utah colleges in to the broadened Pac-12 conference. The comedian then mocked the scholars' accents and requested these phones give "all-American" welcomes. A newspaper in Boulder, Colo., The Daily Camera, reported about the questionable segment and also the network subsequently apologized. The recording was removed once Fox Sports is made aware, using the spokesperson stating that "there is a failure within our internal processes" and reassured that they are doing everything to make sure occurrences such as this are "not repeated later on."
